It is not possible to talk about any of the yet mentioned terms and disregard the cultural diversity of Mexico. Because of that, in our very first class time was not wasted and had a videocall with an important person who is making some changes for good in Oaxaca, at the South of Mexico, trying to integrate the communities that had been isolated  as a consequence of the lack of priorities through the history and has been aggrieved  due globalization.

Life being indigenous is complicated; regarding economical matters to start naming one, since it is well known that education has always been expensive and the communities themselves had been the ones to struggle to get a little part in this connected world. To illustrated what we talked about, an example is having themselves construct their own company to get signal to be able make cellphone calls and even with that the price of it becomes the one of a luxury, paradoxically this is accessible for most of the country. There are also salary gaps and the evident laguage barriers that had forced to make Spanish being an obligatory language for quite some time leading other languages to be little by little forgotten until now.

But do we still have time, is it easy as it seems?

I say no.
