Nothing worths more than liberty, there is no money that can buy it yet the richess it brings is priceless.
The 28th in August, 1973 during the Lincoln Memorial in the capital if the United States, Washington DC, Dr. Martin Luther King's words rumbled in the hearts of over thousands of people, Anne Moody, a black activist would later recall that there were not precisely liders in the multitude but ´dreamers´.
This encouraging event could be the start of the begining of the black nationalism, one of the seeds who would later bloom as recognition of a big sector in the american population to our predent days. The magnitude and repercusion of "I have a dream" would become a motto in the future geneterations and a references in the fight for the black sector.

The social phenomenon of minorities has happened during the whole history due the social nature of groups generating traditions, stablishing bonds and ideas resulting in an identity, a need and right to be recognized, in this case, -back then- a minority with no more patience left consequence of a hollow promise of equality. The 31th January, 1865 proclamated by Abraham Lincoln the 13th Amendment, had abolished slavery in the United States but for over a century there was no change but discomfort which grew bigger and wider.
An interesting event happens when a certain group does not relate to each other. As a consequence of the differences, they exclude themselves and naturally when there is not an identity shared a distancement occurs.
However, little by little they discover others like them, for this to go further they start to notice the other similar's presence needs. Next is, they unite forces to grow bigger in their cause. As black and whites this in this case. This is also the descriptive form of multiculturalism where in a colletive way two groups persue an end.
“One of King’s most trusted aides, Andrew Young, told me. “The country was in more turmoil than it had been in since before the second world war. People didn’t understand it. And he explained it. It wasn’t a black speech. It wasn’t just a Christian speech. It was an all-American speech.”
Gary Younge, 2013, Martin Luther King the story behind his "I have a dream.
